For the first step I will explain, How to make a roof on an object in ArchiCAD. we need to pay attention to is the Geometry Method and Construction Method. In this choice that determines the type and what kind of results that match the roof according to your wall construction.
When you have selected the roof parameters in your design tab. you can focus on the Geometry Method and Construction Method tabs.

1. Single Plan Method
This type of roof has only one side and this type of roof is usually used when we have a plan in making the roof not the same as the other side.
2. Multi Plan Method
When you choose this type of roof, then your design orientation has several plans for the roof so that the roof is bound and bounded side by side.
The choice of the Construction Method works when the wall we have made is in harmony with the choice of the construction method.
1. Complex roof
Rules for using complex roofs, when we have very irregular walls. This function will make an automatic reference so that you do not bother in determining the fulcrum in a roof
2. Rectangular roof
Rules for using rectangular roofs when we have square walls or we can draw a straight line so we only need to adjust to the square walls that we have made.
3. Rotated Rectangular
